Welcome to Expedition Greenthorn 2011!

2011 mountain bike tour of the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine was initially scheduled for August 2011. Due to a number of unfortunate events that started with hurricane Irene, it had to be put on hold until further notice. 

Even though no specific dates have been chosen, the prep work is taking place, albeit at a more relaxed pace than it was in 2011. The web site is being updated with new routes and route legs, maps, information about tourist attractions, etc.
